SR Plastering work with residential customers and commercial clients and provide high quality, long lasting finishes for all indoor and outdoor work. 

 

Using local suppliers we provide a range of services across the Scarborough, Whitby and Filey area.  

 

We also work further afield across Yorkshire on commercial jobs and carrying out sub-contracted work.

Varying thicknesses of plasterboard are screwed into place to create ceilings and walls of different strengths and fire ratings. 

 

Creating walls or ceilings using wood or metal ready for covering with plaster boards. 

 

Application of sand and cement usually to external walls for strength and durability. 

 

Thin coat of plaster to achieve a very smooth finish to internal walls and ceilings. Use to freshen up a room ready for painting or wallpapering. 

 

A thick coat of plaster (renovation, hardwall, bonding) is used to build out depth and then finished with skimming. 

Fitting of decorative coving and ceiling roses. 

 

Plasterboards are stuck to a wall using adhesive plaster. A solid line of dots ensures a good fixing for skirting-boards and radiator brackets.
